Amanda Jones, CPM

Bringing life into this world is an incredible and sacred event. I believe it is vital that women have the option of a safe and family centered birth experience. I became a doula in 2003 to begin helping women and their families. I joined Full Circle in December 2005 as an apprentice. I completed my apprenticeship and became a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) in December 2011.
Both my children were born at home, and my personal experience only increased my wanting to support the option of a safe, family centered, home birth experience.
I also enjoy wildcrafting and making herbal preparations. I feel plant based medicine can help bring health and well being to all stages of life, especially pregnancy.
I am a La Leche League Leader, and lead the Oceana LLL group. I believe that all women should have the support they need to breastfeed their children.
I live with my husband Mike, and our children Zen and Sova on our family farm in Shelby.
