Overdue? Cord around the neck?
I kept track of statistics for 1 year of births for the incidence of cord around the neck and past due status for the 45 births that year.
- 47% of the babies were born with the cord wrapped around their necks
- 55% were more than 41 weeks pregnant!
All babies had healthy outcomes. These are normal and common occurrences.
