Barb Olsen
Hi, I’m Barb Olsen. I am an apprentice-trained midwife. I began training with Patrice in 1995 and have stayed on to work with her in the Full Circle practice.
I became familiar with midwives and home birth while living in Seattle where my last child was born at home. The amazing difference between my three hospital births and one home birth sparked my interest in becoming a midwife. I want families to know they DO have options where their children are born!
I worked for many years with battered women and their families and have a deep understanding of emotional issues that may affect pregnant women and their labor and deliveries. I now have a private counseling practice in Muskegon where I continue to encourage others to see the strength in themselves.
